Heroes to Zeros LP+CD

Nigel Godrich mixed Heroes to Zeros, the third and final Beta Band album, self-produced by the band with all twelve songs credited to Steve Mason, John Maclean, Richard Greentree, and Robin Jones. Liquid Bird samples Siouxsie and the Banshees' Painted Bird, and comic artist Kaare Andrews illustrated the cover. Reviews landed like a send-off should: four stars from both The Guardian and Mojo, an A minus from Entertainment Weekly, and a later spot in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
