Rubber Soul CD

Giles Martin and engineer Sam Okell remixed Rubber Soul from the original four-track masters using de-mixing technology developed at Peter Jackson's WingNut Films. The expanded sets add two dozen session recordings, including previously unreleased takes, a McCartney demo of 'We Can Work It Out,' and 'Little Girl,' a John Lennon song outline that had never surfaced before. The original 1965 album, recorded in the weeks after the Beatles' Shea Stadium concert, helped establish the long-playing pop album as a serious artistic form.
