Sugar On Top LP

The Bamboos have been doing this since their 2006 debut "Step It Up," and nearly twenty years later, "Sugar On Top" still runs on the same tight horn charts and Kylie Auldist's soul vocals as "This Is How You Do It" did in 2023. "Hello Sunshine" and the title track keep the band exactly where they built their reputation, inside the Melbourne funk revival scene they helped start, which is either consistency or a band that found its lane and refuses to leave it.
