The Turn of a Friendly Card LP

Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson spent six weeks in a Paris studio and came out with a full concept record about the cost of gambling, their tightest turnaround yet. Worth noting: it's the record where Woolfson first sang lead himself, on 'Time,' after years mostly behind the boards. 'Games People Play' became the entry point, and it arrived in a single sleeve rather than the usual gatefold, a small shift in how Arista was packaging the group by 1980.
