Thirty years is a long stretch for a signal to sit dormant, but Team Dresch picks up the frequency again where the static cut out. Donna Dresch formed the Olympia, Washington queercore band in 1993 around the guitar and vocal interplay of Jody Bleyle and Kaia Wilson, interplay that moved over 20,000 copies of 1995's Personal Best and carried 1996's Captain My Captain into queer themes. The band split in 1998, reunited off and on from 2004, reissued its catalog through Jealous Butcher Records in 2019, and now returns with twelve tracks.
