Ow CD

First Sylvan Esso record in four years, the longest the duo has ever spent on one by their own account, made entirely at Betty's, the Chapel Hill studio they built, and released on Psychic Hotline, the label Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn run themselves. Meath kept many first-pass vocal takes while arrangements got reworked repeatedly, with six drummers and guests like Wilco's Glenn Kotche, Wye Oak's Jenn Wasner and Bon Iver's BJ Burton widening a circle that started with just her and Sanborn.
