Strance City CD

Somebody handed Merzbow the keys to the Sun Ra archive and told him to go to work, and Masami Akita took the tapes apart and put them back together with clearance from the Sun Ra estate through Irwin Chusid. The original vinyl and CD editions split these six pieces up with different track lists about a decade ago; Strange City finally lines all six up in their intended order from the original masters, Granular Jazz Part 5 included, a piece that had aired exactly once, on BBC Radio 6.
