The Sciences 2LP

The Sciences dropped as a surprise release on Third Man Records, Sleep's first full album since 2003's Dopesmoker and only their fourth overall. The trio of Al Cisneros, Matt Pike, and Jason Roeder cut it at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, and it became the band's first entry on the Billboard 200, with Pitchfork and Exclaim! both giving it strong reviews. It also ended up the last album with Pike and Roeder in the lineup.
