Hillbilly Erotica is a thematic sequel to Sir Richard Bishop's Hillbilly Ragas from the year before, more American Primitive inspired guitar pieces played solo with no overdubs. Bishop, who spent decades in Sun City Girls before going this quiet, released it on Drag City. Track titles like 'Finger, Tennessee' and 'Finger Revisited' give away the joke before the needle even drops.
