Eastern Darkness LP

Eastern Darkness is a Peaceville compilation of early, hard-to-find Sigh material: the Japanese trio's first demos, Desolation and Tragedies, both from 1990, their debut 7 inch Requiem for Fools, and a live set covering Venom. Sigh built its reputation going avant-garde almost from the start, but this material is rawer and more straightforward, closer to thrash and death metal than the keyboard-laced sound the band became known for on 1995's acclaimed Infidel Art.
