Swallow! CD

Shygirl built her name in UK club music through the 2020 EP "Alias" and the Mercury-shortlisted "Nymph" in 2022, both sharp and genre-blurring. "Swallow!" strips some of that down to bare wiring, skeletal electronic production reduced to its signal path on "Lucky (Hymn)," then lets the rest of the record soften into straighter pop songwriting, pulling her further from the clubs that first defined her.
