And the War Came 2LP

And the War Came put Shakey Graves on the map, the first time Alejandro Rose-Garcia worked with a full band instead of going it alone. Dualtone released it, "Dearly Departed," co-written with Esme Patterson, went gold in the US and Canada and became his calling card, and the album hit number 44 on the Billboard 200 and won him Best Emerging Artist at the Americana Music Awards. This anniversary pressing tacks demos and alternate takes onto the original list.
