Hearts Once Nourished With Hope And Compassion LP

Shai Hulud tracked this 1997 debut at Morrisound Recording in Tampa and put it out through Crisis Records, with future New Found Glory frontman Chad Gilbert tearing through vocals alongside guitarists Matt Fox and Oliver Chapoy. The band rams hardcore aggression straight into melodic, almost anthemic passages, and that collision shaped a huge swath of the metalcore that followed through the 2000s. Few debuts from that scene hit as hard or echoed as far.
