Beneath the Remains LP

Sepultura cut Beneath the Remains for about $2,000 at Nas Nuvens Studio in Rio de Janeiro, with Scott Burns producing their first release for Roadrunner on April 7, 1989. The record shoved the Brazilian band off its black metal roots and into a tighter, more technical death and thrash attack, one that climbed to number nine on the UK Indie Chart and earned a spot in Decibel magazine's Hall of Fame in 2013.
