Still Screaming LP

Still Screaming was Scream's 1983 debut, from the Stahl brothers' Northern Virginia band that shoved DC hardcore into a dirtier, more metallic second wave. It was the first full-length album Dischord Records ever released, the label Ian MacKaye and Jeff Nelson built around the DC hardcore scene. Scream later turned into a launching pad too: Dave Grohl joined on drums in 1986, a few years after this record, before leaving for Nirvana.
