Survivng You, Always LP

Surviving You, Always followed Paganicons in 1984, still on the SST roster that also carried Black Flag and the Minutemen. Guitarist Joe Baiza and vocalist Jack Brewer anchor the band again, now with drummer Tony Cicero and bassist Mark Hodson, while guest cornet and alto sax pull the songs even further from hardcore toward free jazz. It's stranger and more sprawling than the debut, the same art school instincts just given more room to override punk convention.
