Temple IV 2LP

Roy Montgomery built Temple IV in 1996 on a four-track deck, layering monophonic Moog drones under slow guitar pieces inspired by Guatemalan rainforest and temple imagery. He's a formative figure in New Zealand's underground through The Pin Group, Shallows, and Dadamah, and a past collaborator with UK act Flying Saucer Attack. Kranky's 2LP reissue expands the original nine tracks with bonus material; buy this edition over the original nine-track pressing if you can find it.
