Bridge of Sighs CD

Bridge of Sighs is where Robin Trower's solo run broke through commercially after leaving Procol Harum, built with bassist-vocalist James Dewar and drummer Reg Isidore, produced by his old Procol Harum bandmate Matthew Fisher and engineered by Beatles veteran Geoff Emerick. It hit number 7 on the Billboard 200 and went Gold that same year. Trower has said the title came from a racehorse's name he spotted in the sports pages. Metallica later tucked a piece of the title track into a hidden corner of Garage Inc.
