Alligator Moon 2LP

Robert Hunter wrote the words to Truckin', Ripple and Dark Star for the Grateful Dead without ever officially joining the band, a little like being the ghostwriter who outlives the author's whole legend. Alligator Moon is the one that got away: a 1976 album he cut with a band called Comfort, lined up for release and then left on the shelf for decades. Rhino finally puts it out for real, pressing it as a single LP for Record Store Day Black Friday.
