Whut? Thee Album CD

Reggie Noble came up inside EPMD's Hit Squad starting in 1990, touring and recording with the crew before Def Jam signed him on his own, and Whut? Thee Album drops that same weight onto the mic. Erick Sermon produces most of it, with Pete Rock and Parrish Smith adding extra tracks, and the record pushes through to Gold status and a top 50 spot on the Billboard 200. The Source handed it four and a half mics, stamping Redman as one of the East Coast's sharpest new names on arrival.
