Perfecth LP

Josh Homme started Queens of the Stone Age out of the wreckage of Kyuss, and the run from that 1998 debut through Songs for the Deaf, Era Vulgaris, and Villains ended up defining modern desert and stoner rock for a generation of listeners. Perfecth, their ninth studio album, keeps them on Matador Records, the New York indie that has also released their last two albums, which says something about a band this famous choosing to stay independent. On wax, the LP pressing gives that riff-driven, hook-heavy songwriting room to spread out.
