Warner Music France built Psyché France as a long-running Record Store Day dig through 1960s and '70s alternative French pop and psych, and this ninth volume, curated by Fabien Vermot-Gauchy, keeps digging in the same direction. Obscure, half-forgotten singles fill the tracklist: Jacques Filh's Je Drague Au Drug, Claude Guilain's Anita, plus cuts from Jacqueline Taieb and Igor Wakhevitch. It's built for crate diggers chasing the stranger, less-charted edges of that era's French underground.
