The Truth LP

Prince's "The Truth LP" might boast an "acoustic" tag, but that label barely hints at the electronic threads woven through. Initially a low-key sidekick to the "Crystal Ball" triple album, this release finally strips away the gloss, spotlighting Prince's unfiltered songwriting and potent vocals. With just his guitar in tow, it lays bare the tension between minimalism and intricacy; a delightful contradiction for those listening closely.
