Process LP

Process follows Pinch Points' 2019 debut Moving Parts and brings in producer Anna Laverty, whose credits run through Courtney Barnett and Nick Cave. The Melbourne band aims its sharp, angular riffs at heavy subject matter: Australia's bushfire crisis, gendered violence, mental health, Indigenous deaths in custody. Critics reached for Bad Religion and Dead Kennedys as reference points, placing the band alongside contemporaries like Amyl and the Sniffers and Idles rather than off on its own.
