Harp LP

Pendant is Chris Adams's left turn away from noise-punk, the sound he made fronting the Bay Area band Never Young before pivoting toward shoegaze and Britpop-leaning pop on his 2019 debut, Through a Coil. Saddle Creek signed him in 2021, the same label that scooped up Spirit of the Beehive, and Harp pushes further still, folding those hardcore roots into house, rave, hip-hop and shoegaze textures until the genre tags stop being useful.
