Not Through Blood LP

Pain of Truth formed on Long Island in 2020 when Michael Smith started writing hardcore songs alone during lockdown after his old band Hangman's broke up. Not Through Blood, from 2023, pulls in guest vocalists across the scene: Steve Buhl of 200 Stab Wounds on "Actin' Up," Josiah Hoeflinger of Criminal Instinct on "Under My Skin," and Freddy Cricien of Madball on "You And Me." Tough, groove heavy hardcore, in the Hatebreed and Biohazard vein.
