Ozric Tentacles have been at this since the UK free-festival circuit of the early eighties, and Harmonic Mind, their seventeenth album, sounds like it: recorded across three home studios in Scotland, Devon and Glastonbury by the current lineup of Ed Wynne, Silas Neptune, Pat Garvey, Corey Wallace, Paul Hankin and Saskia Maxwell, it folds dense synth textures deep into Wynne's guitar-driven core rather than replacing it.
