(self-titled) CD

Organized Konfusion's self-titled 1991 debut paired Queens rappers Pharoahe Monch and Prince Po on a dense, wordplay-heavy fifteen-song record that AllMusic ranks among the best underground rap albums of its decade, running from the comic Who Stole My Last Piece of Chicken? to the political Prisoners of War. Issued originally on Hollywood/Elektra, it produced the single Walk Into the Sun, which reached No. 15 on Billboard's Hot Rap Singles chart. This Nature Sounds CD reissue adds three bonus tracks, including a redone Fudge Pudge remix featuring O.C., and that extra material alone justifies choosing this reissue over the original pressing.
