On Parole LP

On Parole was recorded in 1975 by the original Motorhead lineup, Lemmy, Larry Wallis, and mostly Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor on drums, then shelved by United Artists, who decided it had no commercial future. The label put it out anyway in 1979, after Overkill and Bomber had already made the band's name, and did it without anyone's permission. Several songs are re-recordings of tracks Lemmy first cut with Hawkwind. This alternate-mixes edition goes back into those same old session tapes.
