Mindboil / Violent Opposition 7"

This split 7" throws Violent Opposition, the Oakland fastcore/grindcore band, against Mindboil, the two-man Houston grind outfit of Seattle McMattenberry and Frank Faerman. Mullet Death Records presses it, a DIY label built around short, brutal splits pulled from the American grind underground, and the whole thing reads like a document of tape-trading, message-board-era scene activity rather than a polished studio statement. Both bands keep working the same circuit, trading splits with like-minded acts around the country.
