Bass Persuades marks two firsts for Miley Cyrus: her debut credit as simply Miley, and her first record since leaving Columbia for Atlantic. Her tenth studio album picks up after 2025's Something Beautiful, produced with Kid Harpoon, fiance Maxx Morando, and Michael Pollack. Noise-rock trio Model/Actriz and Miike Snow's Andrew Wyatt turn up on the credits too, pulling her polished pop instincts toward rougher, art-leaning textures than she's shown on recent work.
