Hurley, Michael / Unholy Modal Rounders / Frederick, Jeffrey & The Clamtones - Have Moicy! LP

Have Moicy! sounds like what it was, a loose, communal album that put Michael Hurley, the Unholy Modal Rounders, and Jeffrey Frederick & the Clamtones in the same room, recorded in 1975 and released a year later on Rounder Records. Vocals rotate by song, with Hurley, Frederick, and Peter Stampfel each taking turns at the mic. Robert Christgau gave it an A+ and called it his favorite album of 1976, and AllMusic's Mark Deming came close to calling it a masterpiece for a group this laid-back.
