Equus Asinus LP

Equus Asinus exists because Men I Trust, the self-released Quebec City trio of Emmanuelle Proulx, Jessy Caron and Dragos Chiriac, found their new songs carried distinct energies that didn't want to sit on the same record. The band's lo-fi dream-pop and electropop sound, familiar from Oncle Jazz and Untourable Album, carries over here as the first half of a planned pair, with Equus Caballus landing as its companion; both albums made the Polaris Music Prize long list, and veteran photojournalist Donna Ferrato shot the cover art for each.
