The Ugly Art 2LP

Machine Girl runs on short circuits, Matt Stephenson and Sean Kelly slamming digital hardcore into breakcore, drum and bass, and industrial noise until Pitchfork called the result "full of animalistic rage." The Ugly Art, first out in 2018 on Kitty on Fire, is still one of the duo's most chaotic sixteen-track stretches, bursts of noise cut with real humor. This double-LP pressing puts the original's unfiltered confrontation back on wax.
