Lupe Fiasco X Nu Deco Ensemble LP

Lupe Fiasco made his name on dense, literate hip-hop records like Food & Liquor and The Cool, and this live set hands that catalog to Nu Deco Ensemble, the Miami chamber orchestra built for recasting popular music in full orchestral arrangements. Strings and horns replace the original production, and songs built for rap radio land, recorded live in Miami Beach, closer to a concert hall than a club. Fiasco's layered wordplay still cuts through every arrangement change.
