Lau is a quiet, luminous suite from Lau Ro that folds bossa nova and tropicalia into orchestral psych-pop. Built from spurts of cassette improvisation and layered overdubs, the songs move between intimate tenderness and textured static; the elegiac 'Conclusão' and the sunlit fragment 'Mito do Fim' offer the record’s clearest moments. Small, unforced, and quietly resilient.
