No One Was Driving The Car CD

The title comes from a police officer's flat remark after a fatal 2021 self-driving Tesla crash in Texas, and that same unease runs wire-taut through all fourteen songs here, technology and control circling each other without resolution. La Dispute self-produced the record over a few weeks in late 2024, following 2019's Panorama. It's dense even by their standards, another entry in the spoken-word-adjacent post-hardcore style that's defined the band for years.
