Royal Highness came out through a Suburban Noize and Capitol partnership and peaked at number 17 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart, with "Bump" reaching the Hot Modern Rock Tracks list. It set the Orange County group's whole template: rap-rock built on weed culture, punk attitude, and hooks built for shouting along. "Bong Tokin' Alcoholics" and "High Society" staked out stoner-rap territory before the genre had anywhere respectable to live.
