Vows 2LP

Kimbra's 2011 debut, Vows, is a genre-hopping tangle of art pop, soul, and jazz that went platinum at home in New Zealand and in Australia, where it reached number four, before cracking the US top 20 once it got a stateside release. "Settle Down," "Cameo Lover," and "Warrior" built her name as a vocal acrobat who could leap from girl-group pop to jagged, percussive art-pop inside a single song. This 15th anniversary deluxe edition folds the album's bonus tracks and a live cut in around the original set.
