Project X LP

Project X runs on blown-out 808s and vocoder melodies smeared through Auto-Tune until the vocals sound like signal pushed past what the wire can hold. It was Ken Carson's debut, released through Playboi Carti's Opium imprint via Interscope, and reviews split down the middle at the time even as it built a devoted following and helped make Carson one of Atlanta rap's key rising names. This edition marks five years out, with 'Rock N Roll' among the tracks that's since gone platinum.
