This is the double-vinyl UK import of In Verses on Cymatic Records, Karnivool's first new album in over a decade since 2013's Asymmetry. The Perth band, Ian Kenny, Drew Goddard, Mark Hosking, Jon Stockman, and Steve Judd, worked again with longtime producer Forrester Savell, and 'Reanimation' carries a guest solo from Guthrie Govan alongside earlier singles 'Drone' and 'Aozora.' Two slabs of wax for a band that took its time.
