Karl Zéro is really Marc Tellenne, the French journalist who ran Canal Plus's Le Vrai Journal through the late '90s and 2000s. On the Naive label, he traded the newsdesk for lounge, cha-cha, and downtempo, built for a cocktail hour nobody asked to end. Somehow it ended up scoring an episode of The X-Files with Burt Reynolds in it, proof this record travels further than the cocktail hour it was built for.
