Tea For Tears LP

Tea for Tears dropped on Philips in 1981, the same year Junko Ohashi landed "Silhouette Romance" at number 7 on the Oricon chart and walked off with a top prize at the Japan Record Awards. She'd already shed hard rock for soul-inflected pop by then, and this is the record that's quietly crawled back out of the bins decades later, grabbed by city pop collectors overseas who never lived through the original run. Her recording career ran from the mid-1970s into the 2020s, and this one still has teeth.
