Live at Carnegie Hall 2LP

Don't confuse this with Joni Mitchell's other, more famous Carnegie Hall tape: this one catches her in 1972, right after Blue, feeling her way toward the more orchestral, jazz-leaning sound she'd land on with For the Roses and Court and Spark. It comes from the same run gathered on Joni Mitchell Archives, Vol. 3: The Asylum Years. This 2LP, a Record Store Day Black Friday exclusive on Elektra/Rhino, lets that specific, transitional show stand apart from the 1969 recording everybody already knows.
