Cathedral pairs John Carpenter with son Cody Carpenter and guitarist Daniel Davies on synth-driven instrumentals, due August 7, 2026 on Sacred Bones as a companion to a graphic novel Carpenter co-created with Sandy King and Sean Sobczak, its fourteen tracks each keyed to a section of the book. It's the same eerie, propulsive scoring instinct from his film work, just guitar-heavier.
