Amoroso LP

Mostly avoiding English lyrics across his career, Gilberto opened this 1977 Warner Bros. record with 'S Wonderful' anyway, alongside songs sung in Italian and Spanish. Tommy LiPuma and Helen Keane produced, with Claus Ogerman's orchestral charts wrapped around the man who helped invent bossa nova in the first place. It picked up a Grammy nomination for Best Jazz Vocal Performance. This is the 180-gram pressing.
