Deep Sound Learning (1993-2000) 2LP

These are the tracks Warp Records sat on. The set collects previously unreleased material from DATs Jimi Tenor, born Lassi Lehto in Lahti, Finland, sent to the label during the 1990s while shaping the jazz-inflected electronic sound that made his name, music that runs more soulful and jazz-steeped than the harder, technical style Warp favored at the time. He's since passed through Sahko, Warp, Kitty-Yo, and Bureau B, and now runs his own Philophon and Lokalophon imprints out of Berlin.
