Big World LP

Hovvdy, the Austin, Texas duo of Charlie Martin and Will Taylor, works in warm, unhurried indie rock built on plainspoken lyrics and layered guitar. Big World is their Arts & Crafts release, with tracks like "Life So Wide," "Junk," and a cover of the Spice Girls' "Wannabe" retitled "Wannabe (Radio Queen)." Sounds gentler and more spacious than their earlier lower-fi tape work.
