Sales crawled at first, then caught fire. Hombres G's self-titled debut ran ten songs deep, including the singles "Devuélveme a mi chica," "Venezia," and "Dejad que las niñas se acerquen a mí," plus an unlikely cover: a Vladimir Cosma composition pulled from the French film La Boum. It arrived not long after the Madrid band signed to the brand-new Twins label, and set off one of Spanish rock's longest successful runs.
