baby's gone LP

Corin Tucker and Tracy Sawyer built Heavens to Betsy in Olympia, Washington, and the band became one of the founding acts of riot grrrl, releasing first through K Records and then Kill Rock Stars. Tucker went on to start Sleater-Kinney with Carrie Brownstein after the group broke up in the mid '90s, and the catalog's direct, confrontational songs about patriarchy and power have stayed a reference point for that scene ever since. "Baby's Gone" first turned up on Kill Rock Stars' Throw Yoyo compilation, and this release gathers it with other archival and newer material.
